Terms and Conditions
This is a convenience translation. Only the German version is legally binding: Deutsche Fassung
for the purchase of paid digital content · As of: 5 November 2026
1. Provider and scope
The provider of the paid digital content on sis-automation.de is SIS Automation GmbH, Alfred-Nobel-Allee 42, 66793 Saarwellingen, Germany, represented by its managing director Daniel Müller, registered in the commercial register of the Local Court (Amtsgericht) of Saarbrücken under HRB 64387, VAT ID DE199419189. Further details and contact options are in the legal notice.
These terms and conditions apply to all contracts for the purchase of paid digital content (for example guides, lessons and PDF files) between SIS Automation GmbH and its customers via sis-automation.de. A consumer is anyone who concludes the contract for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed professional (section 13 of the German Civil Code, BGB).
2. Subject matter
The subject matter is access to the digital content as described, which is not delivered on a physical data carrier. Teasers, summaries and free articles are free of charge and not covered by these terms. The content is general professional information and does not replace individual legal, tax or investment advice.
3. Conclusion of the contract
Presenting content on the website is not a binding offer. You make an offer by entering your email address, ticking both confirmation boxes (terms and withdrawal policy read; express request for immediate performance), clicking “Buy” and completing the payment on the page of our payment service provider. The contract is concluded once your payment has been confirmed to us, we have unlocked the content for you and sent you the purchase confirmation by email. A customer account with a password is not required. You can correct input errors before completing the payment on the payment page or by going back in your browser. The contract languages are German and English; the language of the page on which you order applies. In case of discrepancies the German version prevails. You receive the contract details with the purchase confirmation by email. You can call up and print these terms at any time on this page.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are final prices in euros including statutory value added tax (currently 19%). The price is shown on the respective page and on the payment page before you buy. Payment is due on purchase and is made via our payment service provider Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Stripe Checkout) by card or with the wallets offered in checkout. An invoice is created via Stripe. Payment data (for example card numbers) does not reach us but is processed by Stripe; more in the privacy policy.
5. Delivery and access
After confirmed payment we unlock the content for the email address you entered and send you a link by email. Access is permanent; you log in with a login link that we send to your email address on request (valid for 15 minutes, single use). Links for downloading PDF files are valid for 30 days; you get a new link after logging in. You need a current browser, an email inbox and, for PDF files, a PDF reader. Please enter an address you can access; errors in the address are not at our expense.
6. Rights of use
With the purchase you receive a simple, non-transferable right to use the content for your own private or business purposes. Access and downloads must not be passed on to third parties, made publicly available or copied, unless the law permits it. All rights in the content remain with SIS Automation GmbH or the respective rights holders.
7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details, the expiry of the right of withdrawal for digital content (section 356 (5) BGB) and a model withdrawal form are in the withdrawal policy.
8. Refunds and chargebacks
If the purchase price is refunded in full (for example after a withdrawal or as a goodwill gesture) or the payment is charged back, access to the content concerned ends. A partial refund as a goodwill gesture leaves access in place.
9. Defects
The statutory provisions on defects in contracts for digital products apply (sections 327 et seq. BGB). Please report defects (for example links that do not work or damaged files) to the email address in the legal notice; we will then restore the contractual condition.
10. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act and where we have given a guarantee. For slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes the contract possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely) liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
11. Data protection
How we process your data when you buy is described in the privacy policy.
12. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers this choice of law applies only insofar as mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state of your habitual residence do not conflict with it. If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is the registered office of SIS Automation GmbH. We are not obliged and generally not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board unless the law obliges us to in an individual case. Should a provision be invalid, the others remain valid.
