Overview
SIS Automation GmbH programs, integrates and commissions KUKA robot cells. Our office is in Saarwellingen — we carry out commissioning across Europe and worldwide, wherever your plant is.
We work with both current KUKA controller generations: KRC4 and KRC5. We work with KRC4 and KRC5 — the two current KUKA controller generations. Whether it is a new plant or an extension of an existing cell — we connect the robot to your controller, the safety technology and the peripherals and hand over a fully running plant, not a parts list.
Scope of services
Cell integration. We set up the robot cell, wire peripherals and controller and align the sequence with your production line.
Pick and place, handling and assembly. Typical applications are workpiece handling, feeding, sorting and assembly tasks.
Path and motion planning. We plan collision-free motion paths taking tool geometry, workpiece contour and protected zones into account.
Safety integration. Protected zones, access monitoring and safety functions are implemented and documented according to recognised standards.
Connection to Siemens controllers. Coupling a KUKA robot with Siemens TIA Portal or S7 Classic is a standard case for us. We program both sides and align the interface.
Typical fields of use
KUKA robot programming by SIS Automation is in demand at automotive suppliers (pick and place and assembly in timed lines), at special-purpose machine builders (cell integration as part of a customer-specific machine) and at OEMs and plant builders (commissioning at the end customer, including FAT and SAT).
Process
The initial consultation is free of charge. It is followed by engineering with path planning, safety concept and interface definition, programming with a workshop test, and commissioning on site. We work for customers across Europe and worldwide. Our base is Saarwellingen, and we travel to wherever your plant is.
